A lot of hype was amongst last week’s launch of a massive PlayStation Home update which consisted of a new Home Square, Shopping Centre, and a Playground space, along with many other general stuff like new clothes and furniture. But, sadly, sometimes hype dries up when the package arrives, and this is exactly what’s happened.
As the first episode of June, this episode needed to come into its own, and it has. A treasure trove of content will hit your PS3 this week when you download FirstPlay, with yet another mini; a couple of reviews and previews; some brilliant screenshots; and of course the all-important highlights of the network. This week will blow your brains out in terms of content, as well as extra fun in the Featured Downloads section, but if you’re still unsure, don’t worry – we’re here to help!
It was inevitable, Brady Games has published a strategy guide for Red Dead Redemption! The Red Dead Redemption Signature Series Strategy Guide was released a few days before Red Dead Redemption and has already sold over 3,000 copies in the UK alone! Another week, another episode of FirstPlay, and it’s pleasing to see yet another healthy dose of content on offer by the Future crew. This week’s episode saw a couple of racing reviews as well as a trailer for quite possibly the best looking game on PS3 – Crysis 2 (sorry Uncharted 2!). On the screenshots side of things, there are some awesome shots of Demon’s Souls, Saw II and the spooky Castlevania: Lord of Shadows. In Network Highlights, there’s some help for you God of War fans, and a round up of content on the store, minis, and LBP levels. This week also features Blast Off, a free PS mini for your gaming pleasure as well as a Dead Space 2 theme!

So here we are at the start of the minis chain this week with a free download of the Echoes mini. Also on offer in this episode are reviews of Skate 3 and UFC Undisputed 2010 and a preview of Red Dead Redemption. On top of that are screenshots of LEGO Harry Potter and White Knight Chronicles 2 as well as some tips to score Free Kicks in FIFA.
