FirstPlay Episode 17Here on FirstPlay is another pretty good episode to get your hands on, first of is a preview of stabby-stabby Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, then there’s a preview of what’s to come in 3D for the PS3 – complete with an interview with the head of Sony UK. There’s also another review round-up (which proved quite popular in older episodes) including Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4, and Toy Story 3. Lastly in the HD section is a review of the new movie thriller, Exam.

It has to be said that in the Screenshots section, the only game I’ve really heard of is the (hopefully) brilliant sequel to a brilliant game, inFamous 2. Then there’s the new RPG, Lord of the Rings: War in the North, and NeverDead as well as HomeFront.

In the Network Highlights section is another look at the best titles on PSN, which includes Hamsterball and Fret Nice, then there’s a preview of what’s to come in the multiplayer sections of future games – Call of Duty: Black Ops, Gran Turismo 5, and Medal of Honor. Also available is a round up of the latest PS minis, and a new feature entitled ‘Personal’, which I gather is similar to our “What We’ve Been Playing” feature; anyway this week’s Personal feature gets the view of the Associate Produce of FirstPlay (Nathan Ditum) on Heavy Rain.

Last but not least, is the Featured Downloads section, where you’ll get an exciting new theme for your PS3 XMB, this time in the style of Tron: Evolution. Still no news on any new content for this section in the near future, but we can always hope right? Below is a list of all the content to be featured in this episode.
